Shopping at ALEQUI is a simple and smooth experience.

  1. Select the type of product you would like to purchase from the menu bar – choose from either Horse or Rider.
  2. Once you have found an item you wish to purchase, select your size and colour and click on the ADD TO CART button underneath each item.
  3. Review the items in your shopping cart by clicking the VIEW CART button or proceed to check out by clicking the CHECK OUT button.  
  4. Click on the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT button and follow the instructions to place your order.


All buyers are entitled to return and exchange all purchases within a 30-day cancellation period.

Payment options

We offer both Klarna Checkout and Paypal as payment options. With Klarna, you can choose payment via crediti or debit card or via your clearing account when partial payment is possible. Klarna Checkout is accepted for payments from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Austria, The Netherlands and Great Britain.  

For all other European countries payment can be made via Paypal Express Checkout.

For corporates, we offer payment with Klarna Corporate Invoice. This payment option is valid for Swedish firms only.

Retailers are advised to contact ALEQUI for further information regarding payment optioner. Please send an email to info@alequi.com.

Notification email and text message

If you have chosen DHL as your preferred delivery method, you will receive an sms text message with collateral numbers where you can track the shipment. You will be notified via sms when delivery is complete. You can then pick up your products at your local DHL service or pick-up point.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We offer free shipping and delivery on all products within the EU. From time of purchase your package will be available within 1-4 working days. For smaller packages, we ship by regular mail and the products are sent directly to your mailbox. For environmental reasons, we use recycled packaging materials.

Delivery time

All orders received by 11.00 AM will be shipped the same day. Orders received after this time will be shipped the following work day. Expected delivery is within 1-4 working days.

While we aim to ensure that all orders are received when expected,  we reserve the right for longer delivery times for orders related to promotional campaigns.

When the item is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number to keep track of your shipment.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

If you feel the size and fit of your product wasn’t quite right you have 30 days to return or exchange your item. 

Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:

  • Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged
  • Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original packaging
  • Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use

Send an email to info@alequi.com with the details of the product you would like to return or exchange and we will instruct you on next steps to take. All shipping and postage relating to the return or exchange is paid by the buyer. 

Once your order has been returned and received by us, all refunds will be made via the same payment method as your original purchase. Please allow up to 14 working days for your payment to be returned.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Leather care

Leather products from ALEQUI are made of top quality leather and stitched by hand. We use the finest materials, and take pride in the craftsmanship of our leather pieces. Produced in a variety of types and styles, leather can be decorated using a variety of techniques and finishes.

Proper care and treatment of your leather products enhances their appearance and ensures that they last longer. All our products are treated with a protective and nourishing wax.

  1. Clean the leather by removing any dirt or dust after each use with a product such Effax Leather-combi. This will remove any dirt and keep the leather soft. Polish with a clean cotton towel for extra fine finish.
  2. Once the leather is cleaned, we recommend Effax leather conditioner. In particular, this is needed after extreme sweating as the salt dries out the leather.
  3. We recommend to use an oil-based solution only a few times a year when necessary.

Crystal care

In order to preserve their shine, all crystals should be kept clean and tidy. We recommend to polish with a soft cloth. If necessary, lightly rinse them in warm water and a little detergent, then rinse and dry immediately with water afterwards to avoid water stains on them.

Pease note all browbands are delicate and made by hand.Thus, the metal holders of the crystals may be opened during cleaning so it is important to be mindful of them when cleaning. In the event of them opening up, gently bend them back together.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

In cases where invoices are not paid before the due date, interest will be charged at prime interest rate + 9.00%. The last measure is debt collection. By ordering in our online store, you agree to the Terms of ALEQUI Equestrian AB.

Payment options/terms

Shipping

We offer free shipping within the EU. DHL and Postnord are used for the transport of mail and parcels and we follow the Swedish Law of Distance and Doorstep Sales Act (2005: 59).

Orders made before 11:00 on non-holiday working days are processed the same day and are normally delivered within 1-3 working days within Sweden.

International orders may be delivered within 2-7 working days.

‘Working days’ constitute days during a normal work week from Monday to Friday.

Shipping delays

In the case of shipping delays, we are not liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind.

Damaged goods

When you receive your items, it is important that you review your product immediately. If you have received a faulty or damaged product, please contact us as soon as possible by e-mail at info@alequi.com.

Returns and exchanges

We follow the Swedish Distance and Doorstep Sales Act (2005: 59) – which entitles all non-corporate buyers to return and exchange all purchases within a 14-day cancellation period.

All items must be unused and in their original packaging and labels. All shipping and postage relating to the return or exchange is paid by the buyer.

In addition, we offer all buyers exchange their ordered items within 30 days from the date you ordered the goods. This only applies unused products.

Reservations

We reserve the right for changes in prices caused by large price deviations from our suppliers, typos or other errors that are beyond our control. Learn more about unforeseen events in the Force Majeure section below.

In connection with the registration and ordering you agree that we store and use your data in our operations solely in order to complete and provide the service that you expect from us. According to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) you have the right to get the information we have stored on you and if you think it is incorrect or irrelevant, you can request correction or removal from our customer database. If so, contact our customer service at info@alequi.com. We also declare that we will not sell or transfer any personal data (see our Privacy Policy).

Uncollected packages

When your package arrives at a distribution point a notification is set via email or SMS to you. When placing the order, you are responsible for providing correct details such as mobile phone number, your delivery and email address.

If you do not pick up your package we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee.

Force Majeure

In the event of war, natural disasters, strikes, government decisions and similar events beyond our control resulting in us not being to fulfill the contractual agreements and commitments on our part, we are not responsible or liable for any breach of agreement and we are released from our obligations to fulfill any part of these terms and conditions.

Prohibited uses

Is it safe to pay with my credit or debit card?

At ALEQUI, we prioritise protecting your data to make sure sensitive information is secure. 

We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt and protect the data you send us over the internet. This includes all payment details you enter on our website. If SSL is enabled, you will see a padlock at the top of your browser and you can click on this to find out more information about the SSL digital certificate registration.
